This is where it all began....

The Winchester Gun Club is a family friendly business. The Club has been Family owned since November 12, 1966 when Victor P. Joerndt opened the doors as a Trap and Skeet Club. From 1968 until 1988, sons Tom and Warren took over the business, which became a very popular shooting destination offering shooting events, tournaments, leagues and learn to shoot programs! In early 1989 Tom took 100% ownership of the Gun Club and added Sporting Clays and 5-Stand.

 

Warren passed away in May of 2013 and Tom passed away in February of 2016. Warren's son Victor took over the business in 2016.  Along with Dan, Rob and other skilled friends, Victor plans to continue the family tradition of keeping it a popular shooting destination.  With this in mind, we improved by adding another heated 5-Stand shooting trailer and also by improving Field 6, making it an optional International Skeet field for the public and for our young athletes to practice their skills. In the future, we plan to create a Bunker Trap Field. By doing this, we believe to create different disciplines for the public and youth shooters.
